Today is the first day since I got my teeth pulled that I have actually felt somewhat better. Instead of taking Advil I took Tylenol, and I think I only took that 2-3 times through the entire 24 hours. In other news I took Madden to the pool again, and of course he had a marvelous time. Phyllis joined us up there and snapped a few cute shots with her camera! I'll post a few at the bottom for everyone's amusement. There were a couple noodles floating around in the pool, and so he tried to corral them up. Some of you may not know this but my child has terrible OCD. I think it is a sure sign of just how intelligent he is, but he LOVES to stack and balance things. He makes things balance that even I can't get to balance. Sometimes when I am watching him do this I think to myself, he is either going to be a magician, or some genius scientist. He definitely has a lot of his daddy in him.
In other news I am trying to get the house cleaned up before Laura and David get here. I know they don't care how our house looks, but I hate to have a messy house when company is coming over. Looking forward to taking them to Blue Ash Chili, Ikea, Half Price Books, and wherever else they desire to go. With them only being here a full day and a half we have a lot to cram in. Hopefully Madden will be on his best behavior, as he always is!
One other note, for all my Christmas people. Just to let you know I officially bought my first Christmas present of the year! I know that sounds crazy since it is the middle of July, but I saw a good sale and could not pass up the bargain! Let the Christmas shopping season commence!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

I was just thinking today about Christmas! I was quoting A Christmas Story and Carla said it was the stupidest movie she ever saw. And I told her our friendship was over. Between that and Andrew hating Bing Crosby I may need you to come work at the bank during Christmas..
ReplyDeleteBoooo those scrooges! How can you not like Bing Crosby or A Christmas Story? I was just thinking about how much I love Christmas music, and that it can always put me in a good mood. Apparently these people had bad experiences as children at Christmas!
